The Blumenhotel St.Veit/Glan opened recently in St. Veit an der Glan, Carinthia’s City of Flowers. The concept behind this 4-star hotel is dedicated to a floral theme (‘Blume’ means ‘flower’ in German), which finds its expression in both the hotel architecture as well as its interior design.

The 106 double rooms, 2 junior suites and 2 barrier-free rooms are flooded with natural light and feature a decor in a flower meadow design. Each floor of the hotel has its own color scheme and parquet floors can be found in every room of the Blumenhotel St.Veit/Glan. The hotel features a nature workshop where hobby florists and nature lovers will feel right at home. In the nature workshop, the floral decorations and the other creative ornamentations are not only available for sale but are also intended to encourage one’s own personal creativity. The hotel bar is located in the bright entrance area and is the perfect place for relaxing with a cocktail while taking in the view over the nature workshop. Hours of sports and relaxation are possible at the wellness area, which features a fitness area, steam room, Finnish sauna, quiet room, solarium and tea bar.

The Blumenhotel St.Veit/Glan is centrally located just a few minutes’ walk from famous historical sites and a great number of shops, restaurants and cafés. The proximity to Klagenfurt, the capital of the southern Austrian state of Carinthia, makes the hotel easily reachable by car, train and plane. If arriving by car, there is plenty of free parking available directly in front of the hotel.
