Classic Room
Classic Rooms are a tribute to the Hotel Goldener Hirsch’s rich history. Pink, blue, yellow, and red color schemes are enchanting, while antique Salzburg-style dark wood furniture, period paintings, and objects d’art evoke the building’s past. The hotel’s Golden Stag theme is prominent throughout, populating lampshades, walls, or the hand printed fabrics that wrap inviting King or Twin beds. A small table with two chairs provides the perfect space to relax and enjoy the flat screen TV or a drink from the mini bar. Supplementing the traditional décor is a small desk, two telephones, and a High Speed Internet Access portal. Windows open out to our inner courtyard or a characteristic side street. The largest of guest rooms, at 33 to 48-square-meters, Festival Wing rooms are a study in unassuming opulence. Often referred to as “Junior Suites” by regular guests, these recently refurbished rooms accommodate a sitting area equipped with characteristic Salzburg furnishings including a sofa, coffee table, and two inviting fauteuil armchairs—select rooms have a separate anteroom.
