City Suits
The
City Suites are located on the first and third floors of Palais Coburg
and offer a view of the inner city. Most of the suites are two level
maisonettes with a living area, kitchen and half-bath for guests located
in the lower level and the sleeping quarter and a comfortable bath in
the upper level. Solid cherry furniture and airy silk taffeta lend these
suites a refreshing and elegant ambience. |

Palais Suite
The
Palais Suites are found in the second and third stories of the house and
offer a view of the Bastion Garden. Their classic furnishings lend a
similar flair to the Imperial Suites. A spacious living area with a
complete kitchen and a half-bath are located in the lower level. The
sleeping quarters are in the upper level along with a spacious full bath
with an extra-large tub. Some Palais suites also include a whirlpool.
Each suite is uniquely furnished with pieces in the Italian and French
styles of the 18th century (Louis XVI, Directoire Style). The furniture,
antique chandeliers and exquisite wall coverings lend a particularly
noble living atmosphere. |

Imperial Suites
The
Imperial Suites are located above the Ceremonial Rooms of Palais Coburg.
Their exquisite and noble furnishings make them the most glamorous of
the house. The lower floor of each suite has a large living area and a
spacious terrace with a view over the Palais garden and the City Park, a
comfortable kitchen and a guest toilet. In the upper floor one finds the
sleeping quarter and a large bath which is equipped with a whirlpool and
sauna in some suites. The furnishings are of an elegant Empire style
completed with antique desks in late Biedermeier or Directoire style.
Antique chandeliers from the historic crystal manufacturer Lobmeyr exude
warmth and lend the rooms a noble lustre. |
