The Golfyacht Prague was built in Bremen in 1979 and served as a clubhouse for employees of the Czechoslovakian State Shipping Company in Hamburg. Jan Vlcek, a Czech entrepreneur with a passion for boating and golf acquired the boat and brought it to Prague in 2000, where it is positioned adjacent to the Karlín district just upstream from Prague city centre. The Golfyacht Prague is designed as a luxurious base for the driving golf course – the first tee is on the Golfyacht's deck – and excellent driving range on Rohan Island (Rohanský ostrov).

The Golfyacht Prague romantic and luxury cabins are located on the lower deck and main deck respectively. They come equipped with flat-screen TVs, telephone, Wi-Fi internet connection and sleek contemporary furnishings.
