The luxury boutique Hotel Le Palais Prague, built as a residential
palace in 1897, is one of the finest examples of Belle Époque
architecture in the city. Located in an exclusive residential area, only
a five-minute drive (or 15-minute walk) from the famed Wenceslas Square
and the National Museum.
Opened in 2002, the hotel's interiors were created by Veronika
Jurkowitsch. Individually designed guest rooms use high-quality
materials, and include rich fabrics and antique-style furniture. Warm
lighting adds to the cozy ambiance.
The Le Papillon Restaurant offers modern seasonal cuisine made from
local and international products. The hotel's neighborhood sits atop a
hill, and the restaurant has taken full advantage of the view. Le
Papillon's summer terrace sits to the side of the hotel, overlooking the
green hills and colorful rooftops of the Nusle Valley.
If relaxation is on the agenda, the spa offers pampering treatments
using Caribbean concoctions. The classic, wood-lined library has an
inviting fireplace and the lobby bar includes comfortable leather
armchairs where you can kick back.
