Enter a hotel that embodies peace, tranquility, and ease - difficult
qualities to find in many cosmopolitan cities - unless you're in Prague,
where The Augustine makes it look easy as pie.
Prague's history is an intrinsic part of The Augustine. Located in
picturesque Malá Strana, the hotel is in a much sought-after spot -
close to the majestic Prague Castle, the Wallenstein Garden, the famous
Charles Bridge and the city's many colorful attractions. Step inside
this beautiful building and be enveloped in its elegant, peaceful
ambiance.
Sleep in on the weekend, and order breakfast until 2:00 pm. All of the
rooms are unique, with artistic touches and stunning architecture.
Located in the monastery's original tower, the suites are magnificent,
the Charles Suite being the most impressive.
Delicious dishes are served at The Augustine's "The Monastery"
restaurant, and the service is (not surprisingly) superb. By the way,
monks are still living in a real monastery that joins one of the seven
buildings that make up this property. One can only hope that they have
had a chance to sample The Augustine's restaurant. After all, sacred
work should be fueled by wondrous food.
