Chateau de Talhouėt is absolutely immaculate, the building dates from the sixteenth and seventeenth centuries and all its areas are so perfectly maintained that they look exactly as they must have been hundreds of years ago... The salons as well as the rooms are really impressive and absolutely majestic! Now each room is fitted with an up to date bathroom.

The Chateau has only eight rooms which are distributed in two floors. In each floor there are three rooms accessed by the main staircase of the chateau plus a fourth room in another part of the chateau, also on the same floor level, but accessed through a different staircase.

There is a characteristic of Chateau de Talhouėt that can be quite appealing when traveling with family, each floor has two rooms sharing a threshold that when the two rooms are rented together, they become a nice apartment type arrangement; the rooms with this characteristic are the Louis XIII and Louis XV on the first floor, and the Bleue and Montgolfiere on the second floor.

Overall, the Chateau de Talhouėt is a great place with a wonderful atmosphere, where the chatelier, Monsieur Soulaine, is a great host and the cook could not be better.
