The Residence de la Pinède is an authentic luxury hotel, a wonderful
haven of peaceful relaxation nestling in the famous bay of Saint Tropez.
A discreet hotel of unmatched quality, by now La Pinede forms part of
the heritage of this magnificent natural site. The philosophy of the
Delion family, which owns the premises, puts the accent on the culture
of service and creating a warm atmosphere, through the efforts of the
whole team of 90 persons entirely dedicated to the pleasure of the
Pinede's guests.
A palace on the human scale with a 39 rooms and suites, La Pinede is a
real haven of tranquillity, set apart from the local hubbub, enjoying a
magnificent natural decor. The rooms, with their newly stuccoed walls,
are in harmony with the colours of the exterior, light and refreshing...
Certain rooms even reflect the style of Saint Tropez, with their stripes
and sweet and sour colours, greens and blues...
The majority of the rooms enjoy a view over the sea and the bay of Saint
Tropez, and a terrace or wide balcony with the scent of sea pine to give
a unique sense of well-being day after day. Each stay is like a new
experience, since every room has its personality, intimately dependent
on its opening onto the sea and the play of lights filtering through the
pines. What is more, the hotel has three separate buildings – the
central part, the villa and the tower – which will each leave you with
unique impressions. The villa and the tour – a former oil mill – are
located on either side of the central part and lay the accent on privacy
for couples on holiday breaks.
The Residence de la Pinede, Saint Tropez's home of fine dining, offers
you inventive and subtle gastronomic flavours, under the direction of
its Chef, Arnaud Donckele. Trained by Michel Guerard and Alain Ducasse,
and formerly assistant to Jean-Louis Nomicos at the Lasserre restaurant
in Paris, in 2004 the young Chef took over from another master of
culinary alchemy, Olivier Brulard, who is now officiating in La Reserve
de Beaulieu. Arnaud and his team delight the palates of the guests of La
Pinede with their multifaceted cuisine.
A great believer in cuisine inspired by revisiting the classic recipes,
the Chef composes savoury culinary moments punctuated with notes from
the sea redolent of the Mediterranean... Arnaud Donckele is especially
fond of natural products from the region, including vegetables and
citrus fruits, which he works on with the precious help of local
craftsmen.
At La Pinede, the arts of the table appear in different guises in
different places and at almost any moment of the day, at breakfast, in
your room, on the terrace of the restaurant, by the side of the swimming
pool, on the beach: absolute freedom just to please the guests.
