This is a story of a resurrection: two 18th-century buildings with beautiful façades have been thrown together and deeply converted for 21st-century comfort. The lobby flows into the sitting area on a vast expanse of finely striped rich-red carpet studded with apricot-plush bucket chairs paying homage to a huge heart shaped love couch.
