Away from the spotlights of the Champs Elysées, the Hotel de Sers is a
discrete witness to the splendors of 19th century Paris. Today, this
mansion has been restored to its legacy without fanfare, offering its
guests small château charm and star quality: an immense portrait
gallery, a restaurant with a lovely courtyard garden, impressive
woodpanelled lounge, and of course it’s welcoming rooms, bright suites,
with several of these offering their guests luxurious, breathtaking
views of Paris...
The restaurant, far from the bustling avenue, is at one end of the
immense portrait gallery, looking out onto the tree-lined courtyard.
This is a lively place favoring distinctive minimalist elegance: tables
bathe in light that seems to come down from the sky and the layout
offers guests different settings for their meals: a spacious room with
marble decor for a business lunch, a winter garden for a special lunch
or dinner, and when the weather is nice, enjoy a leisurely meal on the
outdoor terrace, where time is forgotten. The S'Bar is both refined and
trendy, decorated with woodpanelling and upbeat red and ivory tones, all
to the tune of jazzy music. Once the evening comes, white candles are
placed on the tables, making the S’Bar the most perfect and unique place
to discover our twelve cocktails, including the "La Rose Sauvage" [The
Wild Rose], a subtle mix of rose syrup, pink grapefruit juice, and
champagne. This could have easily been a favorite of the Marquis de Sers
himself! To stay fit, guests will find all the gym equipment needed for
daily workouts in a kind of fitness temple: weight training equipment,
stepper, and stationary bicycle, among others. Restoration and relax at
the hammam and sauna, both decorated with an emphasis on clean lines and
simplicity.
Elegant and modern, imaginative and historic, the recently opened Hotel
de Sers is a stone's throw from the Champs Elysées, in the heart of the
"Triangle d'or".
