The perfect couple one could say is the Chateau du Viguier du Roy and the restaurant La Dinée du Viguier, which although part of the chateau, is under separate management. The chateau is absolutely magnificent, a 4,000 m2 property dating as far back as the XIIth century, in the heart of Figeac.

The building was acquired by Mme. Secordel-Martin in the late eighties when she and her husband moved here from Paris. It took them three years to restore the place or rather say transform it into a luxury hotel without changing any part of the original structure.

Every room is as it was the walls, columns and parts of the flooring remain the same. Everything has been beautifully decorated with the excellent taste of Madame Secordel and fitted with modern high quality materials such as silk tapestries, marble bathrooms, etc. Each room is different, all are extremely spacious and with large comfortable bathrooms.
