For over 150 years, the "Adler" ("Spread Eagle") has been owned by the
Zumkeller family, and has become one of the top addresses in the Black
Forest. Membership of the international hotel association Relais &
Châteaux, and the award-winning cuisine, featured in all the restaurant
guides, shows guests what the Adler values the most: cultured living,
the highest standards of dining, and family-run hospitality, catering to
individuals.
In the past 12 years, all 45 of the rooms have been completely
renovated. From the cosy, country cottage style single room to the
elegant two-bedroom suite, all your comforts have been provided for. The
bathrooms offer all the comfort and convenience you would expect.
Eating and drinking well is one of the Adler’s great attractions. This
is confirmed by all the restaurant guides that have granted the Adler
their awards. The Guide Michelin has awarded the Adler a Michelin star
every year since 1966.But it’s not just the gourmets who come for their
money’s worth, but also lovers of genuine, regional, Black Forest
cuisine. For aperitifs and nightcaps, the Florian Bar is ideal, and
there are rooms suitable for banqueting and groups as well. On Mondays
and Tuesdays the Adler Restaurant is closed.
