An art and business hotel surrounded by chestnut trees in Berlin's
exclusive Westend, the family run Hotel Villa Kastania is an inspiring
hotel which offers just the right balance of style, facilities and
comfort. Ideal for guests who prefer small hotels with lots of
character, the property has 47 rooms and suites and is warmly decorated
with natural woods, stone and fabrics. Interestingly, the hotel is
situated on the site of the villa of Wolfgang Liebeneiner, a famous
German director and actor. The present owner, Mrs. Sylvia Möller,
renovated the hotel in 1993, 1995 and 2005 with finesse and attention to
details. Today the hotel is a small and very exclusive four star hotel
that has a southern flair which many guests from all over the world
appreciate.
The 47 spacious hotel rooms and suites –many decorated with original
artwork– come with a luxurious bathroom, balcony or terrace and a
comfortable seating area. In addition, a stylish and newly-upgraded
wellness area with an indoor swimming pool –large enough for doing some
morning exercise laps–, massage parlor, an aroma therapeutic rainforest
shower as well as Finnish and Roman saunas and outdoor terrace is
available for guests. The hotel also has its own beauty centre, which
provides a great opportunity to pamper yourself before a night on the
town: treatments include facial masks and exfoliation as well as
moisturizing facial treatments. The restaurant "Marron" serves regional
dishes and transforms into a wonderful garden restaurant under the
chestnut trees in summer. Private hotel parking spaces are available at
a small charge.
The Hotel Villa Kastania is situated only five minutes’ walk away from
the Exhibition Centre. The centre of Berlin can easily be reached with a
bus or the underground at Theodor-Heuss-Platz (Line U2) which is 150
meters from the hotel. Within a short time you can reach Kurfürstendamm,
Potsdamer Place, the Brandenburg Gate, Checkpoint Charlie, as well as
the Friedrichstraße and Hakeschen Höfe.
