This sensual boutique hotel is housed in a Victorian building situated
on the edge of Dublin city centre, only a 15 minutes’ walk from Grafton
Street, with its lively shopping and diverse entertainment. Arrival to
the gates of Dylan is an experience in itself, especially in the
evening, when it is magically lit by old fashioned lamps outside the
main entrance. A modern wing sits comfortably besides the original
building and the lobby offers a foretaste of the voluptuous design
beyond. Leather padded walls, over-sized floral motifs and tactile
wallpaper along with ultra-modern seating and creative lighting are just
some of the curious elements that create an atmosphere of decadent
elegance.
The sensuality continues in the individually designed bedrooms which are
fitted to a very high specification. The bedrooms are stunning, inviting
guests to revel in the fabulous French headboards, Frette bedlinen,
magnificent drapes and lush brocade covered chairs as well as serious
designer high-tech. Dylan's Bar has a great energy and buzz and
specializes in cocktails, and is overlooked by the brilliantly designed
and informal Still Restaurant. The restaurant's bright, white dining
room is filled with no less than nine glittering chandeliers, luxurious
cream and white chairs, wildly curved furnishings, a pale padded wall
and a baby grand piano. Here, Padraic Hayden’s modern-Irish cooking is
in great demand with the public.
Located in a leafy, affluent area on the edge of the city centre, Hotel
Dylan is just minutes away from the heart and the panache of Dublin's
Centre. A short stroll over the Grand Canal along the historic Baggot
Street leads to the city centre haven of St. Stephens Green, and the
world renowned Grafton Street, famous for its top quality shopping and
diverse street entertainment.
