Ca' Pisani Hotel, fully renovated between 1998 and 2000, was the first
design hotel in Venice. With the help of two exceptional professionals,
this boutique hotel came alive with style, comfort and personality. The
architectural elements have remained untouched, and the building is
still the typical 14th century Venetian palace, but the interiors show a
strong Art Deco influence with original furniture from the 1930s–40s,
while the technology is purely 21st century.
The entrance lobby is simple and futuristic, with a prevalence of
marble, walnut, and with Mondrian-esque paintings in light shades of
mustard yellow, terra cotta, lobster pink, beige and grey. Each room is
luxuriously different and is furnished with original 30s and 40s period
furniture and other thoughtful additions. On the top floor, the palazzo
boasts a splendid "loft" with three rooms with easy access to the
Turkish bath which was once quite popular among with the large Venetian
houses. It also has a typical "altana" (roof-top wooden platform) with
panoramic views of the city. The "La Rivista" restaurant offers Venetian
dishes revisited with a modern twist.
Ca’ Pisani Hotel is situated in the heart of the Venice's artistic
centre, in a tranquil area of the enchanting Dorsoduro district. Ca'
Pisani Hotel is also a stone's throw from the famous Accademia art
gallery and bridge in a location that is ideal for all visitors to
Venice.
