A recent refurbishment has meant that all of the rooms have been restored to their former splendor and have very sophisticated decoration, showing that a lot of time and effort has been put into giving them a unique and comfortable feel. There are 161 rooms in total, and 32 luxury suites, many with panoramic views. The other facilities include a gourmet restaurant, a bar, and the crowning glory - a swimming pool embedded in a large landscaped garden.

Palacio Estoril Hotel & Golf, a short walk away from Estoril's casino and beach, is also just 20 minutes drive from the centre of Lisbon. Less than two kilometers away is the hotel's own Estoril Golf Club, a 27 hole complex with excellently designed, challenging fairways that has played host to the Portuguese Open. Hotel guests enjoy reduced green fees to this, and other golf courses in the area.
