The Hotel Apsis Splendid was opened in 1998 in a privileged location of Barcelona city center, just in the beginning of L'Eixample quarter, 600 meters to La Rambla and 550 meters to Plaça Catalunya.

With a name like Splendid, it would be a shame not to live up to expectations. But the Hotel Apsis Splendid is in no danger of disappointing. It is, in fact, better than splendid--its sleek, chic, and trendy. What more could ask for in a modern three-star hotel?

The swank marble lobby, lustrous dark wood paneling, and utterly stylish design make this hotel feel like a fashionable home away from home. Though cozy, the 43 rooms are comfortable, fully equipped, and immaculately clean, sporting handsome navy blue decor. (There are also three "junior suites" in addition to the regular rooms.) Half of the rooms face the street, and half face the darker interior.
