Inaugurated in 2004, the Diagonal Barcelona hotel stands out for its modern architecture and interior design, in harmony with its neighbor, the Agbar Tower. The building in which this new hotel is situated - the fourth in this city by the Hotel Silken chain - has an impressive glass facade, an imaginative play of black and white contrasts which create an interesting optical effect. The building is the result of Barcelona architect Juli Capella's desire to harmonize it with its surroundings and Jean Nouvel's spectacular Agbar skyscraper.

The Diagonal Barcelona hotel offers 240 rooms distributed on nine stories, some of which are fitted and reserved for non-smokers and disabled guests.
