The hotel is located at the foothills of the Montseny mountains, next to the Natural Park of Montseny. It is the oldest farmhouse of Gualba, a country house refurbished at the end of XIII century which still preserves some of its original features. The inner spaces of the hotel, such as the guest rooms, the dining room, the library and the sitting room with the crackling of an open fire invite you to the calm and to the rest. So do the natural surroundings.

The hotel is not far away from the villages that surround the Montseny and it is only 50 km far from Barcelona as well as from Girona. You can easily explore the hubbub of the cities during the day and retire to the country at night to escape from the hustle and bustle of city life.

The initial framework has been maintained when the works of rehabilitation were made and thus each guest room, individually designed, is different and has a peculiar charm. The bathrooms are modern designed and all of them include a Jacuzzi bath or a hydro massage shower. The beds are comfortable and the rooms spacious and air-conditioned.

The restaurant is located within the old stalls. Its large windows providing natural lighting allow you to taste the dishes of the gastronomy while enjoying the countryside. The cooking is seasonal and relies on fresh and quality produce. The own vegetable garden supplies the restauran with fresh and natural quality products. The restaurant is open not only to the guests but also to the general public. Reservations are required.

In addition to this, from the hotel you can make a gastronomic route in some restaurants awarded two or three Michelin’s guide stars and whose kitchens are internationally recognized.
