Hospes Madrid is a splendid building designed by the architect José
María de Aguilar in 1883 at the request of the widow Duchess of Prim.
Inaugurated in 2000, Hospes Madrid is a hotel company with the drive to
create hotels with exquisite service; places where luxury isn't measured
by its ostentatiousness, rather by the warmth and attention offered to
the guest. Part of the architectural eclecticism current in the
Restoration period, what used to be a house for several families now
harbors a welcoming combination of elegance, architecture, gastronomy
and pure revitalization.
The comfortable rooms of the Hospes Madrid, some adapted for people with
disabilities, share a space with the Senzone Restaurant and a bar-café
with a large terrace. In an adjoining building, the guests will find the
Bodyna Spa, a place dedicated to relaxation and tranquility which gives
beauty and massage treatments. It includes a small gym, an indoor
swimming pool-Jacuzzi and a hammam.
The Hospes Madrid is situated in the Plaza de la Independencia, an
indelible part of Madrid's centre; the hotel offers superb views of the
Puerta de Alcalá and the inspiring Parque Retiro, as well as easy access
to the intense economic, cultural and artistic activity of the capital.
