Ynyshir Hall is set amongst breathtaking scenery in the secret heart of
Wales. Beautifully appointed bedrooms are named after famous artists and
each is individually designed with comfort in mind. The garden is
particularly famous for its vibrant Azaleas and Rhododendrons, which
provide a rich tapestry of color in April and May. Sequoia and
Wellingtonia trees flank the drive and on entering through the gates one
is immediately captivated by its charming amphitheatre setting. The
elegant candle lit restaurant sparkles with its crystal glassware and
polished cutlery. Its calm atmosphere against a scenic backdrop, make it
a very soothing room to enjoy the pleasures of the fine food.
Located in Machynlleth, ancient capital of Wales, the house is now run
by Joan Reen and her husband, the painter Rob Reen. They have made it
their own without losing sight of the influence of Her Royal Highness
Queen Victoria, whose favorite trees still stand where she planted them.
And now it is your turn to enjoy a royal welcome...
